Day 324 - Power Play mingle
[There's no fanfare today. The museum has something about the benefits of sheep's wool. There are no decorations up. The clothing shops have the same sort of stock they had yesterday. And there are no specialized dishes at the restaurants, but you can probably find a power bar at the convenience store, but there's nothing new there.

What is new is whatever power you woke up with or without today. What you do with that is up to you and whomever you encounter.]

[Sam is about eight feet tall when he walks toward Leia. Funny thing about today, anytime his name is said he just gets taller. Useful powers are useful. It's getting hard to be inside buildings, but outside means more potential for...growth. Still, when he sees her moving things around Skywalker style it's the kind of thing you have to watch.]

That's...new. [He wasn't used to her doing it at least and he's supposed to be surprised anyway, so it works out.]

[ on any other day, leia might've startled and sent the rocks she was floating around her crashing to the ground. but today isn't a normal day, and leia feels his presence drifting towards her in the force. it's non-threatening, and the rocks land gently at her feet when she turns to face him. ]

That's one way of putting it.

[ standing at just 5'1", sam towers over the petite princess on a normal day. right now, he's taller than a wookiee. leia has to tip her head back to take in the full view of him, but otherwise doesn't seem all that bothered by his height. for all she knows, he's a member of a near-human species that has something of height advantage over the rest of them. ]

What's a few unfavorable reviews? Even the best of organizations are going to have those who look down upon them. [ believe it or not, there were neutral parties who, even though they despised the empire, didn't view the alliance in a positive light, either. ] One of my own people has spoken highly of the Defense Force. I'll make my own judgements, of course, but right now, that's enough for me.
