Day 324 - Power Play mingle
[There's no fanfare today. The museum has something about the benefits of sheep's wool. There are no decorations up. The clothing shops have the same sort of stock they had yesterday. And there are no specialized dishes at the restaurants, but you can probably find a power bar at the convenience store, but there's nothing new there.

What is new is whatever power you woke up with or without today. What you do with that is up to you and whomever you encounter.]

It won't hurt me. [Sorry, but honest. Also, not really wanting to hurt him or be stuck, so she closes her eyes and tries to focus beyond the magnetic pull. Maybe there is a way to fix this. The only reason Piotr couldn't turn back to flesh was because he had a life-threatening injury that only his power protected him from. She's fresh out of life-threatening injuries so maybe, just maybe she can figure out how to revert.

You know what makes it hard to concentrate? When the remainder of the door you were holding on to gives away completely and you find yourself quickly sliding toward a table with a demigod behind it.

Apparently concentration is overrated and necessity is the key though because just before she would have crashed into the table smashing it to pieces she manages to replace metal with skin.

Soft, bruise-able skin. Luckily, the pull was gone so she still fell into the table, but she wasn't slammed into it.] Ugh...

[He's pretty sure the end is nigh when she comes sliding toward him. If the table doesn't take him out, all of her heavy metal self will. Bracing for impact, he lets go of the table to shield his face.

The table knocks into him, but not nearly as hard as he was prepared for. The magnetic pull is also gone. At least - the very strong one. There's still little tugs all over - nails in the floor and furniture, fixtures, window frames, wires in the walls...

He drops, part exhaustion, part relief.] You okay?

	It's a plan. Didn't really see myself playing in parks today anyway. [She keeps the screw with her as she makes her way to the door, ignoring it's tug as she does so. The tug she's more worried about is feeling like she needs to let the metal reassert itself.] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
