[Kitty knows there are secrets of hers out there, but she's only seen a couple. She's trying not to pick them up because of what she might find attached to someone else's name. She doesn't always do a good job of resisting. She spends much of the day patrolling somewhat aimlessly. Sure, she can say a game like this from the warden could excite tempers and cause trouble, but the people here are more or less used to it. Really, she just feels like she has nowhere to go anymore, so she might as well keep walking.]

I still have Nathan for the moment. [She's not sure how long their temporary situation will last. Once upon a time her place was their place and before that it was his place. And Nathan is from Reid's world. She thought she was in a better position to be around him than Reid and now she thinks they're all pretty badly broken. Not that she's giving up. Not in her nature.]

It's not easy to do. [She would know. It's the journey she's been on ever since she got here. Feeling so different, so other. It's not an entirely unusual feeling for her. After all she's a mutant from a world of mostly humans. But it wasn't quite the same either. People accepted that part of her so easily and yet there were so many parts she wasn't sure she could accept of herself. Things she'd done because they needed to be done at the time. And the longer she's here the less she remembers what it was like living with constant threat even if the prison seems to thrive on constant upheaval of one sort or another.]

But he's young. [She stops just short of saying "younger."]
