[The dulcet sounds of one of Kanji's distinctive panicked flailing noises coincides with that remark. In reality it's because he just spotted one of his own embaresisng secrets - the one about Naoto, which he is frantically ripping off the bulletin board and crumpling up - but if Nico's not paying attention to that sure, it might sound like a guilty reaction to the kissing thing. Which it's totally not.]
