Hey. [Clearing his throat a little. He doesn't speak to everyone at once like this very often. But he's been working with Deanna to track this thing and now she's gone and he just needs to get the information out there even if he doesn't have all the details.] We have a situation. I've been talking to people and keeping an eye out and some of us are or have been affected by the pearls that were brought in from sector 6. [You know, by the green girl.]

I'm not sure exactly how they work, but they're amplifying or creating feelings in people. It could be anger or nothingness. [Those were a couple he was pretty certain about from Jack, Mal, and Korra.] But it could be more than that. It could be any emotion. [As far as he knows.]

If you have a pearl you need to get rid of it. [Driving this point home.]

If someone you know has a pearl don't touch it. It could transfer over to you. Just get them to...[yes, what? Put it in the trash] maybe just take them back to Sector 6 or call me and we'll talk about it. just don't keep it.

[To be fair Sam has suspected it since they day M'gann introduced them, but he suspects everything so it didn't really warrant a news report. 	Awhile ago. I got rid of mine the day after that time travel body swap thing. It was a lot harder coming back to it after that. She got rid of hers the next day during that storm when I told her about it. I distinctly remember being extremely hungover during all that thunder and running. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	[Thinking about it.] I had it with me, but it wasn't affecting me. I got hit pretty hard with it coming back. I guess I'd just gotten used to it, like building up a resistance. 	Oh yes, those are real things - is the snarky remark I would have made before coming here. Although I do remain skeptical. From my personal experience yes, I felt better having it around and didn't like the idea of giving it up although I do think being insanely drunk made it easier, if that helps in your pearl roundup stratege at all. Drunk, huh? [Is he considering liquoring up a teenager to steal his pearl? Of course not. He'll wait until Dean can suggest it so he can say it's a horrible idea and then they can go do it.] At this point any information helps. Deanna was trying to sense for strong emotions while she was here, but just because someone has a strong emotion doesn't mean they didn't always or that it wasn't just caused by something.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize the story of my emotional termoil was merely being exploited by a tall research junkie and mistakenly took this announcement as someone asking for assistance finding these things. Good luck to you on that, then. Please know that the only thing currently stoping me from actively helping people hide them from you is firsthand knowledge of how much they suck.
