Is there anybody who is really good at life stuff? Maybe... I dunno. We don't got any grandmas or grandpas around, I don't think.

I know you don't wanna hear from an asshole like me, but hear me out. Somebody good at figuring out how to do life stuff, I got some questions.

	Lecture sessions and homework vary by class... and I don't think anyone here is really keeping track that strictly. Kind of hard to when there's this constant turnover of teachers and students. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Well, you're only as useful as you make yourself. If you don't learn new things to keep up and stay relevant, what's the point?

[If there was something that bothered Piper, it was someone who put up roadblocks at every potential solution to a problem. Sure, it was easy to say 'no' to something, but it was more beneficial to at least give something a try.]

Besides, no one said it was going to be easy and fun all the time. Sometimes, you just have to push through something you don't like to get to something you do.

Uselessness in a more serious, complicated matter such as when you give your older sister money for all of her medical expenses, but you still lose her because of your uselessness. Or when you finally make your first best friend and it's the greatest thing in the world, until someone better and cooler than you comes along and then you're only second best. Like that.

Those are the kinds of things you can't really blame yourself for. It's not because you're useless. It was just that other forces at work at other plans.

I lost a sister, too. It's the hardest thing in the world to deal with. But we can't blame ourselves for it. Sometimes, we just have to accept that we're powerless to stop something from happening because that's life. It doesn't mean we're useless. It just means we're human.
