[She wakes up on the floating island with the blaring and vibrating of the giant speakers below her. She can't really process the message, and as it turns out that doesn't really matter to her at the moment because everything that happened yesterday is taking on a whole new context. She threatened Reid. She threatened Reid. He looked so hurt. So did Nathan. She reaches up to call him only to remember she left her communicator by the bed. She'll just have to get there herself then. Without another moment's delay she phases, dropping right through the island and getting herself to the apartment as fast as she can.]

Reid! Nathan!? [Calling out their names as soon as she drops in through the ceiling of the kitchen as it turns out.]

[Nathan is still in the hospital. Reid is...wherever he went. The apartment is all hers at the moment and she has no intention of going back there until she's too exhausted to be awake long for it. She's not sure if she wants to avoid people or be with them, so for now she's just walking without paying much attention to where that takes her.]

	Welcome to club death. You're not the only one. [Also not the first time she felt closer to someone because of it. Neil. Itachi. Granted, Itachi was reanimated zombie style, but he gets to be in the club.] But killing the person you love even if you know they're going to wake up again? 	I was kind of shocked when he told me he had injuries so he just died to fix them. The guy who trained me... His power was healing himself. I saw him take damage no one would be walking away from and he would. He'd put himself in the line of fire because he could, but he still told me not to think of life as being cheap. I think Jack's the opposite. He's lived for so long and died so many times I don't think he remembers what it's like to be normal. Seeing death as a solution is the way he thinks now. I think he puts himself in danger just because he can, sometimes. I've seen him die to trick enemies or find a way to escape a situation and I just wish he wouldn't see it like a tool. I've told him how much I hate watching him have to come back but I don't think he listened.

Yeah... I know exactly how that kind of relationship goes. I was just thinking what I wouldn't give for a little more crisis so I don't have all this time on my hands. [Or on her mind really. She will get her wish tomorrow, not that she realizes it!]

But... I do think you can get through it. The most important part is that no one stops trying. There's no fixing things if someone gives up.

	Agreed. Not that I'm complaining about how quiet this place can be, but it's a different dynamic than what we're used to. I don't know if I'll ever really get used to that. I think sometimes the danger makes it easier. The end of the world has a way of making personal problems seem a bit unimportant. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I don't think that's something I've ever really worried about. Before we got here things were so casual between us losing him didn't have quite the same ramifications for our relationship. And in any case, even before I knew how I was going to die that was a part of it, too. He's going to live forever, I'm not, and we have a dangerous job. We're always going to lose each other.

That part about holding on too tight was from personal experience, I take it?

	I didn't say too tight. I just said tight. [Was it too tight? Is that why...?] But, yeah, I was married back home. Probably too fast and way too young, but you never knew how long you had. 19 years as it turned out plus extra time in prison for bad behavior. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It's just...my first time with someone breaking up with me I guess. [She and Piotr were broken up by the wardens or they're still together, but she made it as clear as she could to Reid that things were over with him even if he did arrive.
