Day 275? Oh, my...

[So she too had succumbed to the disappearances that plague the dome. Her first thought, quickly dampened, is for Kira. She won't give up hope, yet it seems doubtful that he would have arrived again in her absence, being only a very seldom addition to her life here. As for her second thought, no doubt she'll have confirmation either way very shortly.]

[Woozy from the strange, yet not entirely unfamiliar sensation of her memories of home overlaying her last memories of the dome, Lacus applies her extraordinary focus and steadies herself. The still-fragile peace back home will have to be entrusted to others, for now, and she must come to accept being imprisoned yet again... or still, depending on which memories she favors. Yet more to sort out once she has a moment.]

[In the meantime, she smiles into the video feed, easy and sanguine.] It would seem I've been gone a number of weeks; I should think I've missed quite a lot. Perhaps someone could fill me in?

And, hello to anyone I've not met. My name is Lacus Clyne, and I'm glad to meet you in spite of the circumstances.

	Ah, you're a friend of Sasha's. I would also hope to see her again, she has quite a calming and delightful presence. To answer your question, it is entirely possible that she might return. People's comings and goings seems to be fairly random. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I do. Not as well as I would like, but I hope to remedy that should I see her again. I don't think you should feel bad, however. It is only normal to wish for a familiar and comforting person to be with you here. Of course you would not wish a friend to be imprisoned otherwise. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I don't get the impression people remember here when they go home. [If they go home? She never really ascertained that.] So it's not so very strange. 	They are, but they have a great deal of power over us. Some things have happened here that were somewhat unpleasant. That's relatively rare, thankfully, but it has happened. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Many of us haven't. My world has a great deal of rather advanced technology and I hadn't seen anything like the Wardens, either. My dear friend Kira who can do anything with computers wasn't able to do a thing with them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Mm, it is unusual. We haven't done much with artificial intelligence in my world in part because one never knows what a machine will do with free will. We did have a Warden previously that seemed to gain sympathy for the inmates, but since moving to this facility that hasn't been the case. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
