Evening 241 } Action } Open Mingle
[ As mentioned by the wardens yesterday, Eric is hosting a costume party. The Blood Shack is lit by candles for the evening (he remembers the last party he had being interrupted by a power outage) and a small buffet of sorts has been erected. It furnishes mostly hors d'oeuvre and finer foods, things that Caroline picked out as Eric hasn't a clue about human food.

There is blood on tap (naturally) as well as a full bar. Eric has made certain to include water, sodas, tea and various non-alcoholic drinks.

The jukebox is playing a variety of music, but patrons are always invited to pick out their own music. The dance floor has a disco ball and there's the ever present 'dancing' pole on stage if someone gets brave. Tables are scattered about as are sofas and chairs so that people have a choice where they sit.

Enjoy yourself, mix, mingle and admire everyone's costume and everyone is required to have a costume in order to be here. ]

[Since there weren't any more teammates at the party to witness Wally dressing up as them (unless he wore a skirt but nobody wanted to see that), which is most of the fun in doing so, and he already played the assistant with a sparkly bow-tie for Zatanna at the fair, he decided to go a completely different route than Artemis tonight and decided to dress up like Indiana Jones.

But maybe they can do the complementary costumes thing the next time they attend one of these together.]

I hope Zatanna isn't too jealous because you look better wearing that than she does. [He might be just a little biased, though.]

[Well she better get used to all the compliments heading her way from now on. But for the moment, he's going to make a little face when she messes with his hat, because it was perfectly fine the way that it was, but otherwise lets her adjusting go uninterrupted.]

Did you go through her closet? [If not, she did a really good job of coming close to the real thing.]

Well a costume party at a vampire bar is actually one of the more normal things that happen around here. Though I wonder if any of the recent newbies know how literal the name is.
