Day 233 | Sector 2 | late afternoon
[ action ]
[When she's not on assignment in Sector 1, Korra can be found wandering forlornly around Sector 2, where she and Mako had been (briefly) reunited. She'd been doing so well, not missing home, but seeing Mako, getting to talk to him and kiss him and hold him again, has opened up the floodgates. It's been weeks since she's seen Bolin or Tenzin or the air bender babies; months since she's been able to spend any significant time with her parents or Master Katara. She's never been separated from Naga this long since they were both babies.

She wants her boyfriend. She wants her best friends, and her teachers, and her parents, and her world, and her life! She's sick of being trapped here, having all of her powers and yet still being less than nothing.

Bart's beaming as he orders himself a bowl.] Iiii might've put in a request to the creepy Wardens the other day, and they might've sorta-kinda started adding it to the rotation of foods they serve here. 	Apparently. My nephew's friend told me, so I thought it'd be worth a shot. [After she'd raved about it, Bart wondered what the real deal tasted like, so why not? He slurps some noodles and oh god, no wonder she missed it so much. He'll just inhale that whole bowl now and grab another.] Maybe now you can get some good stuff whenever you're homesick. 	[Weirdly enough, eating noodles doesn't make it any easier to avoid crying. This whole situation is just reminding her of Bolin, and how he took her to a real Water Tribe restaurant when she was feeling depressed about Mako. Oh. [He's terrible at hiding his relief.] That sucks. [Does he need to beat someone up? He's not much of a brawler, but he knows how to pack a wallop.

Instead, he goes to another food cart and grabs green tea ice cream for her. What else is he supposed to do? He doesn't want to ask her about it - if it's this bad, chances are that he can't do much about it. So he focuses intently on his own noodles, taking his sweet time for once.]

[He jumps, almost dropping his bowl. So that's why she was all moody... Bart couldn't blame her. If his girlfriend (or future wife) had come, it would've bugged him too.] Back when all those people came, right? That really sucks.

[more seriously:] I get it, though. It's like... you see someone important, and you want them to be here and yet you really don't, 'cause Marina's hell.
