[ when liz turns on the feed, she is as calm as she can possibly be. with everything else that's been happening lately, she honestly didn't expect to be thrown into prison, especially when that prison was one she was unfamiliar with and buried deep under an ocean. she's not entirely sure how she feels about that.

either way, her expression is one of determination and she's ignoring the prison garb. that can come later. ]

My name is Sheriff Liz Forbes. [ because she definitely doesn't go by her full name and these people need to know that an actual law enforcement officer is present among them, not whatever these wardens claim to enforce. ] I've spent enough time listening and watching to know the basics. What I'd like now are more details. If anyone has information they'd like to offer... I would appreciate it. I can't offer much in return, but I'm sure we can come to some kind of agreement.

[ with firmly pursed lips, she turns the feed off and waits to see if anyone will bite. ]

People from all different dimensions, worlds, and timelines are here. Um... not all of them human. There's a unicorn. [She still thinks it's kind of magical... and strange that a unicorn would be in prison. A touch more somber:]

I don't think this is really a prison that is based upon whether we are criminals or not, though many do. While technically most of the reasons people are in here are for things that are most likely wrong, many are not worthy of jail or prison.

[It's frustrating, really. With so many people who have had their lives disrupted here.]

In the end, I think we're just an experiment. In one of our old domes, the individuals behind the wardens would joke and laugh at our expense, or do strange things to everyone in the dome. Change personalities, or physical attributes. It was just for their amusement. Before we were transported to where we are currently, they flippantly spoke about results and possibly getting rid of us all.

A unicorn? [ she says it disbelievingly but you know, if she didn't come from a place where vampires and werewolves exist, she'd be less inclined to believe unicorns could exist in another reality. ]

And how do they compare here? [ so... previous people in charge didn't seem to care much at all about them. how does that compare to the ones here? liz can already feel a headache coming on. ]

[She smiles a bit and shrugs] I was surprised too. I don't know.

[She tried to get him to approach her by staying still and being all maidenly but instead he didn't come over until a stray Frisbee went her way. Oh well.]

Whoever is behind the wardens within the prison here, has yet to make an appearance.

[To be honest, Yuuki can't decide if that is a good or bad thing.]

We've only ever interacted with the wardens since the switch to this dome.

	Points for... uniqueness. [ this whole thing is getting more and more... strange the longer she's here. and it hasn't even been that long. ugh. ] So there's a... a person behind the wardens? 	That's your friendly under water prison for you. Full of surprises. [At least he doesn't act like your typical prison.] I do think there's an organization of people behind the wardens. So far no luck. If they were foolish enough to do that, I think they're aware there are plenty of people who'd like to get to know them... [And probably not all would use as gentle of methods as she would.]

Regardless of the Wardens, though, I think you'd be interested in looking into the Defense Force.

[She only brings it up because she has mentioned her position back home.]

Because there's no one to really protect us from the genuine criminals who have been thrown into this place, along with the innocents, a force was put together to help maintain the peace.

[She doesn't want to talk openly about any efforts made or looked into in regards to freeing everyone from this place, so on that front she'll remain vague. In the end she simply goes with:]

If you're looking for more answers, I think that's your best place to start. And we're always looking for capable, knowledgeable members on the team.

	Not the first to mention them to me. I probably will... once I've managed to deal with... everything else. [ it's a start and will offer a decent routine for her. something to do with her time at any rate. ] It's a lot to take in. 	Mm. [A smile] Most of the people are friendly here, you'll find. Be careful, though. While the majority of everyone here is kind there are those who are dangerous and violent, too.
