DAY 223 — Morning Greeting
Good morning, inmates. Today is day [ 223 ]
of the first generation. The weather scheduled for today is [ warm and sunny with clear skies ].

The [ disruptions ] from earlier have been stabilized and the facility is operating according to [ standard perimeters ]. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

New inmates will be arriving in the facility shortly. Please be aware of this disturbance as you go about your day and help them get started on their [ rehabilitation ]. We value your cooperation.

Have a nice day.

[ And like always, we end this message with a jaunty tune! You're welcome. ]

(OOC: Kiosk requests will be handled by Conscienti unless otherwise requested! Mail submissions go here! )

[ she looks a little lot the worse for wear as she approaches the kiosk, thanks to the return to "normal," but that isn't going to stop her from making her request. in fact, that might be part of the reason she's about to make it at all. it certainly doesn't hurt. ]

I'd like to make request, if you don't mind. Our foray to the other facility gave me the idea of opening a clinic of sorts. Obviously, I wouldn't be able to handle everything, but I thought some of the people here might feel more comfortable seeing one of their fellow inmates.

[ she doesn't know these wardens well enough to figure out whether this request will go over well or not, but she figures this idea is well worth potential punishment duty if they don't like it. it requires supplies, which is also why she's asking. otherwise she'd just do it herself, but formalities. and she may as well at least attempt to make a decent impression. ]

Is the hospital service not sufficient?

I suppose it is. I haven't yet had the pleasure of finding out. However, I was thinking this could be a supplement of that, an arm, rather than the body, if you will. I could handle small things such as burns, cuts, non-life-threatening injuries. The more serious ones could be sent to the hospital. And I was hoping to turn it into a bit of a learning experience for others, where I could also teach my fellow inmates basic medical knowledge, such as the benefits of keeping their injuries clean. It would certainly free you and yours from trifling matters like papercuts.

[ There's a long stretch of silence here. If Conscienti was equipped with a loading screen, that's what you'd get but for now there is only silence. ]

Request [ granted ].

You will be provided with a suitable facility in [ sector 3 ] as well as supplies including, but not necessarily limited to: [ bandages, medicine for common organic ailments, hygienic necessities and simple medical instruments ]. There will be inspections every [ 3 ] days for the first [ 4 ] weeks to ensure that the inmates are not at risk. Any injuries or illnesses due to improper care that results in hospitalization will be treated as [ assault ] and punishable as such.

Is this sufficient?

((ooc: The medical supplies would essentially be the same you'd find in a nurses office. Over the counter medicine only and just enough stuff to handle the small things she mentioned. ))

[ whether or not she can be seen, she'll give a respectful bow of her head in response. this should give her something to do at least. ]

Yes, indeed. I understand your terms. [ and accept them, etc. ] If there's anything else you need of me, I would be happy to comply. [ she'll wait long enough to see if conscienti is going to say anything else before leaving, as she doesn't really want to seem rude after all that effort. ]

Okay, so, that may happen. Is that what did happen? I just managed to get bruised in exactly the place I was before? And how did it go away in the first place so quickly?

[ Correct ].

The [ hematoma ] you are referring to was lost in the [ dimensional stabilizer ], a fault that was corrected upon return to MarinaNova.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Should've figured. Is the reason our bodies seemingly reverted to a pre-arrest state upon transfer, a process which reversed itself when we were returned here, also restricted?

You know, this is the one most people find obvious.

It's because then you're harmed which is a drain on resources or you're killed which is a different sort of drain. It's also bad for morale and definitely not consistent with rehabilitation.
