[What better way to kick off a mingle than to broadcast the invitation to the entire dome?]

Hey ya'll. I know it's kinda outta place t'say Welcome to Marina cause no one really wants t'be here, but it ain't all bad. In any case, I've got a bar an grill here in Sector 4 called Merlotte's, figure th' new arrivals may want to come on down and have a drink or two after a trip like that.

Anyone's welcome of course, we're open from mornin' to night. Come on in an' have a bite to eat or somethin' to ease your troubles.

((ooc: This is an open mingle. Feel free to thread everywhere with anyone. As always, before threadjacking make sure it's okay by the player but otherwise have fun! Sam is available to chat with either by Video or in person and his thread is right Here. There is a full menu of down-home diner/grill sort of foods, so hamburgers, french fries, salads, soups, breakfast items or whatever other comfort food you can think of and a few other things from other worlds. There is a full bar, wine, liquor, beer and even blood or synthetic blood. He also has a pool table and there's plenty of room in booths or tables to play cards or whatever else.))

It's not like I'd break your arm twice. Been there, done that. [ In other words, Damon here has no intention of ever hurting her again. But that's as much as he'll say about that.

Out for another date with my baby brother? [ Ooh. Good one. Stefan had mentioned them going on a date when he'd met him after that baseball game. Of course he'd been a little surprised. ]

No, I don't care if he tells people. [ she kinda does. although the fact that he's telling people is sort of like bragging about it which gets the warm and fuzzies going inside of her.] Not that it really matters to you anyways.

Hm. [ He decides to let it go. It's really none of his business. Besides if there's one person here who he knows isn't going to hurt Elena (not on purpose at least), it's Caroline. Plus, Elena's been taking an interest in that Defense Force giraffe, Sam whatever. ]

At least the stabilizer's taken care of the Klaus and Kol problem. That's one less thing to worry about.

[ Lucky for Caroline, things have been a little strained between him and the doppelgänger. The last exchange he had with Elena involved her walking away from him in a huff. But who can blame her? ]

Ugh. Not you too. [ He knows Elena's been trying to gain Rebekah's trust and get on her good side, but it feels a lot like emotional blackmail. ] I know that we can't exactly get rid of the she-devil, but will you girls stop playing niceties with her? Next thing you'll be making friendship bracelets.

I'd really like to hold off on the celebratory party until she's gone.
