Day 218 Action: Open
Since Rose left to go back to her own apartment and with Ianto and Jack busy doing what she suspected they were doing, Martha had spent quite a bit of time by herself. She'd gone to the one Investigation Team meeting, but mainly stayed to the outskirts watching and observing. Today she was running errands.

Her day started with a trip to the library. After picking up three books, she made her way to the sector three gardens. Martha had taken up meditation, and though she wasn't very good at it yet, it was helping her calm her mind and think through her predicament. If one were to stumble across her at the library, they'd find her in the medical section or the self-help section. In the gardens, she found a quiet spot to meditate. Most noticeable about her were the three lines of stitches on the back of her arm starting near her wrist and disappearing under her sleeve. Second most notable were the books either in her arms or next to her on the ground: two on advanced medical knowledge and a self-help book on losing one's fiance.

	It was Rose's second trip to the library but she wasn't sure what kind of book to get this time around. She had spent hours poring over most of the books in the library but Rose didn't take any with her; she was currently making her way through the aisles, occasionally stopping to see if there was anything of interest to her. Just rounding a corner from the medical shelves, Martha stopped short to keep from bumping into the other woman.

"Excuse me! I didn't hear anyone else in the area." Perhaps she shouldn't be walking so fast. She shifted her books, glad that the advanced medical books were on top. "This way's all medical if that's what you're looking for," she added, ever helpful even though she wasn't asked.

Rose would be quick enough to dart out of the way before colliding through the use of her enhanced speed. But she wasn't revealing her vampiric nature to someone she didn't know.

"It's okay. No harm done." She assured her with a smile. "Ah, no. Not what I'm looking for but thanks. Do you work here or are you a frequent visitor?" Rose appreciated the help in any case.

	"Visitor. I'm Martha," she mentioned by way of introduction as she proffered a hand to shake. As she extended her right hand, the material of her sleeve shifted to reveal the hard-to-miss stitches that disappeared under the sleeve. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Rose. Good to meet you Martha. Always nice to hear a familiar accent." There were quite a few of her fellow Brits here. She took the offered hand and shook it, noticing the stitches almost immediately. "What happened?" Her eyes widened a little, her tone full of concern. Martha looked a tiny bit confused at the question before her eyes snapped down and noticed the stitches as well. Right. She'd have to get better about covering those! She wasn't sure how much Rose would know about the truth, and she didn't really want to cause untoward panic as there'd been no other reports of a giant wolf.

"I was part of some giant dog's game of prey it seems. It underestimated me." She tried to keep her tone light, as though it were no big deal and that she hadn't been scared for her life in those moments.
