The older and more involved she had become with the Scoobies, the harder it had been to make friends. And Peter didn't seem to be unnerved by the weirdness that was her and her life... so far. I mean I do spend time alone back home...not that you asked. Right. Yeah. So we'll skateboard and I'll keep you from falling. It'll be good." His brow furrows. "Tomorrow? I mean--or--or a couple of days if you'd rather."

He likes Dawn and she seems to like him. This makes him more nervous, apt to ramble and stumble over his words.
