"You're living with your sister, I'm living with a sister and her brothers." Quinn wasn't certain whether it was okay to tell anyone that the Mikaelsons had moved in with her or not (nevermind that she had already told Eric, but Eric was her Vampire Friend and if she needed vampire advice, he was her go-to if she didn't feel comfortable with asking Rebekah), but at least she made light of familiar relations and not the teeth in their mouth. Rebekah, Niklaus, and Kol weren't public with everyone, and Quinn was determined to keep it that way.

To protect them, unaware of the irony in a frail-by-comparison human protecting a group of originals.

Quinn beams, nodding. "MmmHmm. Luau on the beach."

"Ooo it's like you've been adopted by a whole family. That's cool. I mean it's probably an awesome feeling to have family here when you didn't before." Cause Dawn knows how family isn't always blood. It's something that sometimes just makes itself without any effort on anyone's part, really.

"I think I'm gonna invite this guy, Peter. He's really cute and just as awkward and ramble-y as me." Girl talk time!

If by 'adopted,' we mean 'compelled,' then yes. While Rebekah's intentions may be genuine and pure, her brother's are not. Quinn has no idea that Klaus is using her to keep an eye on the displaced population of Mystic Falls, no idea that he sunk his teeth into her wrist and tasted her blood, no idea that she's just another pawn in a really drawn out game.

"Peter, huh? There's a few Peters here. Tell me more about your Peter." Hopefully not that space age one. Quinn thinks he's creepy.

"His name is Peter Parker and he has messy brown hair and brown eyes and is really super awkward and cute. Oh and he's smart. Like, he knows all this science stuff that's fun to listen to even if I kind of suck at science unless it comes in the form of a spell that requires certain ingredients." Yes, she just kind of gushed about a boy all over you Quinn. Sorry.

But she quickly adds more anyway. "He's gonna teach me how to skateboard.... sometime. Which is probably not a date but more like a hanging out thing... but still."

No, continue. Quinn enjoys some good, old fashioned gushing over a boy talk. Especially in comparison to vampire troubles or talk of how utterly depressing it is to be stuck in this place. The company's nice, don't get her wrong, but she'd much rather be back home at Yale, getting her studying on. (Whoever thought she'd miss studying?)

"Well I think I'm gonna keep myself from calling it a date until he does cause... I don't know, he's the boy. But we've hung out a little bit every day since he's been brought into the prison and he's... really fun to hang out with. He rambles like me. And is a little awkward... like me. Kind of geeky. But really, geeks are in right now where I'm from so it's good." She's gushing at you Quinn. And she realizes that. So she makes herself stop with an awkward. "Sheesh... boys."
