You know, I can't believe how many vampires there are here tonight! I mean, I know it's the Blood Shack, and I know several people have told me the dome is more or less crawling with vampires, but I hadn't run into many before tonight. This is rather fascinating!

Very serious, in some ways. We've... been through a lot. We're no exclusive, though.

[At least, he's not. He suspects Ianto still is, though he hasn't actually asked.]

The living together thing just kind of happened, though. We arrived here on the same day and it made sense to get a place together, especially since we were used to spending most of our time together back home. It was an intense kind of job.

	No judgements there. Being exclusive..it can be rough. [She had rushed into that with Hoyt -- it's a mistake she doesn't want to make again, which is why things with her and Jason are open -- not that there's been things since he showed up here, but they were back home.] What kinda job was it? [He shrugs.] I just don't do exclusive. It's not the way I was raised. Not everyone can get everything they need from one person, and it's wrong to try and force them to try.

[And he still hates that this place enforces it so very, very strictly. He's never been somewhere it's harder to bend the rules.]

We used to catch aliens and alien tech that fell through a Rift in time and space.

	It's not in some people's natures. I tried bein' in one for a long time but bein' a vampire and all -- we ain't made for monogamy. [Or not at this point of her life. [Though of course then you get to the fact that Ianto's not immortal so it's not like it would actually be forever, or even very long (or at all, back in the real world) but that's leading down paths he doesn't want to tread so he heads back to the other subject.]

It was. Never a dull day! Psychic stones, people from 1953, alien sleeper agents, gloves that could bring people back to life, alien pregnancies... we really had it all!
