Movie Mirage event
[Just seconds after today's morning greeting has finished, Puck appears on the floating island, looking out over the sector with a grin. Sure he could have done this before Veridical's broadcast - there are doubtlessly more people awake now than there were five minutes ago - but since there's not much he can do to enchant the wardens, it's better to wait to make sure they don't say something to ruin his lovely surprise. But now!]

[He doesn't broadcast his spell; in fact, he's not even wearing his communicator, but if someone just happens to pass by the floating island at this moment, they might hear what he's saying:]

Plays of old forgotten be
Yet theatre's still an art to see
Evolved from stage to silver screen
This morning Puck will go unseen
Deliv'ring visions unto all
Come join; we'll have ourselves a ball!

[Helix certainly doesn't start with a good morning at all. He's off, trudging down to go get some coffee since they were out when just stepping out his front door has him damn near losing his balance.

He blinks, looking around his surroundings to see a dark sky and a length of hull stretched out before him.

What the fuck?

He whips around, knowing damn well he just stepped out of his apartment building, only to find the rest of the titanic ship behind him. Suddenly the boat is rocked violently and it shudders as something whines, cracks and snaps off to one side at the front. There's screams and yelling and a horn blowing in distress. Helix topples over onto the deck in the impact.

He picks himself up, trying to steady himself as the boat continues and rocks in the waves. Something flies past them ON FIRE, its so close he can feel the heat. It strikes the ocean and causes enough of a wake to shove the ship on it's side. Before he can so much as cry for help he has to scramble to hold onto the railing as it pitches, desperately trying not to fall into the water because he can't swim.

Of course to anyone else they might see him flailing and clinging to something or someone blindly. Spazzing out at nothing that's actually there.]
