[Welcome to the life of Xander Harris where he's familiar with sex bots—not that he ever used! But kissing bots are of the new variety. On one hand these are amazing. On the other he could get stuck with someone like Angel or Spike. So they aren't amazing. They are bad. Very bad. He should be hiding in his room. Why is he not hiding in his room?]

Of course, Buffy isn't hiding in her room either, but she's using the excuse that hiding in her room would make her crazy and she'd rather kiss someone than go crazy so she is out, shopping and trying to keep an eye out for kissing bots. She takes a quick glance around when she sees Xander then heads over toward him.]

And look here. Fate definitely isn't that kind. Fate is coming to punch you in the gut in the form of a Viking Vampire who has a kissing bot trailing a few feet behind him. Either way, Eric doesn't look terribly concerned.]

but it takes one to know one. without a helpful vision telling her to stay indoors and pull a smart xander, cordelia, instead, is out and about attempting to retail therapy (as she does every day of the week, lbr) and get the hell away from these bots who wouldn't know mechanical fashion even if it kicked them in the ass.

when she sees xander, cordelia's feet listen to her brain and walk over to him, while her mouth usually does the complete opposite. ]

My, Harris, if you can't get a real girl, you might as well go for the robots, huh?

Anyway. It just so happens that Spike is out and about. It also happens that he's going in the opposite direction, making them conveniently pass each other like ships in the night and that would've been it if it wasn't for the just as conveniently placed barrier that erected itself right as he was about to continue on his merry way.

At least you'll get the satisfaction of seeing Spike walk right into something that isn't there? There's a satisfying, startled noise and everything. ]

[Itachi doesn't care to hide. The kissing bots do not bother him even if they are odd. So he wanders into Sector 0 without a care for if any might be by. If someone else is in the area, he doesn't remark on it.]
