Yeah yeah... laugh it up. [ Speaking of hurting, since he's already got a headache growing in his skull he might as well get a good punch in now that he can. Get some frustrations out, it isn't like Sam doesn't deserve it and so he pulls back for a short but firm jab. Gotta keep it quick so he has a chance of connecting before the chip fires.]

[Feeling kinda bad about it, he attempts to help the vampire up though he probably shouldn't. In fact, he really regrets it the moment he's suddenly clocked in the jaw. His teeth clack solidly against each other and he's damn lucky he didn't bite his tongue. However he DID catch his lip. He staggers back, holding his face.]

SHIT! What the hell was that for!? [Licking his bleeding lip and glaring.]

[ The moment his fist connects with Sam's jaw, Spike braces for a painful jolt of electricity--- that never comes. He even winces in preparation, holding a pained expression for a moment before ultimately realizing that there is no pain at all.

But he hit. He had the intent to harm and the punch connected and— oh. Oh.

Brows still knitted in half confusion and half curiosity Spike steps back in for another punch, this time aiming for the others arm. It's not particularly hard (for a vampire) but the intent is there strong as ever... and still nothing.]

You're not human. [ And with that, his mouth slowly twists into a lopsided grin.]

What?? [The confusion is enough to allow Spike another hit, but Sam manages to turn slightly so it's less of a direct blow and more of a glancing strike.

But Seriously. What? How could he possibly have figured that out from punching him?? He doubted the other finally figured out his scent, he'd been close enough to the blond several times already. So what was it that could have given him away?

Regardless his confusion is genuine so it could easily mask the tension and worry creeping in. He'll take a cautious step back too just in case the other was going to try something more than hitting him. Raising his defenses and debating throwing a punch back.]

I ain't proud of it, but I once beat a werepanther's face in. So there's that.

[A casual warning. Yes, he can hold his own if he has to. He wasn't lying way back, nor about being a dangerous drunk. That guy wasn't even included in the murder count (though he almost was).

[He pauses shortly after unbuttoning his jeans to give the other an annoyed look.]

[There goes the zipper and he's holding onto the edge of his jeans so they don't fall off his hips.

An instant later his body is changing and within half a second he's shrunk, gained a thorax and wings and big beady eyes in a fluffy head. He gives off that eery panting laugh as he hovers, buzzing as his wings hold him aloft.

[He swings sort of lazily in a back and forth rhythm in front of Spike before zipping around him at different angles to show he can move naturally in this form.

But... something's not quite right. He can feel himself start to lose his grip, like ones arm getting tired of holding something heavy above their heads. It was tougher to hold a different form in Marina for long periods of time and just like tensing a muscle for too long... he eventually had to stop.

He zipped off somewhere close by to hide before practically falling out of the air and behind a trashcan. He almost knocked it over changing back and it rattled as it rocked and slowly settled. He picked himself up, grumbling a little and picking the lid up to hide the parts of him he was dead sure Spike didn't want to see.

He then walked over to go collect his clothes, looking a little irritated. Clearly that was not how he was expecting it to go.]

There, you happy?
