Not that he needs to think about it for long, because shortly after he's said that something firmly yanks his attention away from her. The previous hauntings have been blurry at best but this one is crystal clear — a woman, engaged in a silent conversation with herself or perhaps someone that just can't be seen. There's something frantic about her movements, the way she shakes her head or nervously moves her fingers.

Reid tenses beside Kitty. Practically holds his breath.]

[She looks up when his attention is stolen. She doesn't recognize the woman, but there is something maybe vaguely familiar about her. She's not sure what it is. But her eyes don't linger on her too long before returning to the profiler.]

Reid?

[She knows she can't touch him. She knows this. She's been unsuccessful most of the day at her attempts. And yet right now she reaches out anyway. The feeling of disappointment and emptiness she gets when her fingers just fall through his arm instead of landing on it is greater than ever, but she's more focused on him.]

That's, uh... [ He pauses to swallow, but it's just an excuse to steal time to gather his thoughts together. He knows it's just... a glitch or something in the air. Not real. Not going crazy, but seeing her..? That brings out more emotion than he can swallow down.
