a hopefully short hiatus as I attempt to settle in DW! my other game's official move is tomorrow, so I'll need to take a pause from tagging new things.

I'll still continue to tag/backtag all my existing threads, maybe do one or two placeholders for new ones if I give in. :'D (especially those I promised a plot with.)

also a heads-up that my tags might be really slow, if those I'm threading with hasn't noticed yet. :'c I'm really sorry about that, I'll do my best to get to them as soon as possible. ♥

Unfortunately I'm going to have to put Crona on a hiatus. I'm not really feeling the muse at the moment, haven't for about a weeks or so, and I'm hoping it'll come back soon but right now I think it's best to have a hiatus instead of force out the muse.

This doesn't affect my other kids, Tsuna and Hisoka, but just a heads up that I might not be tagging around with Crona unless something/someone really pings the muse, and also a few back tags were dropped.

We're finally getting substantial casts who can't be easily segregated by our current criteria, and concerns were raised that our sorting system of "DC Universe" and "Marvel Universe" would result in people not realizing that the cast cap doesn't apply to broad groups of canons like that. But at the same time, the respective universes are so closely intertwined that they really should be under the cast cap. Our efforts to sort them out into smaller groups were also unsuccessful.

After some consideration, we have decided to lift the cast cap to accommodate these growing casts.

It's something we've been meaning to do for quite some time now. It's always been our policy to just wave in new players after a cursory question or two to encourage new blood, and anyone excited enough to consider contacting the mods was already pretty much guaranteed to get in, so in many ways it was only a formality. Additionally, Marina is at a size and a strength where we don't need to worry about any one cast overwhelming the game. We have 185 characters, from 89 fandoms, played by 91 real live people! Having fourteen DC comics characters won't negatively impact us.

All that this means is that players no longer need to worry about a cast "closing" after 10 characters and requiring mod permission to app into. Go ahead, Marinarans! Do your worst! Just try to flood us with your cast!

So yeah, I apped this guy at the standard time but RL and more RL and blah blah. But here he finally is! /o/

Lena again, that player of seven other characters, with her eighth muse! Chris is from Earth Maiden Arjuna, a granola-crunchy save-the-world anime about how pollution is bad mmkay. But pay that no mind! As a temporary character, what's relevant to you, yes YOU, is that Chris is going to be the center of a BIG PLOTTY PLOT. Which you clearly want to get in on!

A bit about this oddball: He's extremely psychic and can probably read your mind, but his physical body is frail and he can barely walk. He also can't speak, other than telepathically, but fortunately he has a few handy astral/spirit forms like the above icon'd dove. Chris is extremely pinged by people with psychic and spiritual abilities and things of the like, so if your character has somma that I encourage you to hit him up!

Which brings me to permissions! As the mind read-y godmode-y thing he is, it would be a lot smoother to thread with him when I have some idea of what he'll be sensing... and what your character will sense from him! I designed a super-short permissions post HERE, seriously it should not take you more than 2 minutes per character unless you want to get uber specific. Thanks! <3

A-also a note, Chris is the personification of the Hindu figure Krishna so I might use some references from that. Please forgive and/or educate me if I screw it up!

Probably should have posted this earlier... Posting hiatus since I don't know what internet situation is going to be like at Jess's or what my tagging motivation is going to be. Hopefully it won't last long. I haven't forgotten! Honest I haven't!
