soooooooooo since the Monkey Island games are fairly old, lemme tell you younger folk a little bit about Guybrush. he's a mighty pirate. but he's also a huge DORK. and if he ever ends up in a fight with you, expect insults which, if not responded to appropriately, will give him the upper hand! ...okay that probably won't work here, i dunno, i'll be sure to ask. ALSO. expect random items to be looted from the vicinity. call him on stealing if you wish, he'll probably just be like o_o??

Hellooooo Marina!

This is Char here, player of Maya (turnaboutmedium) and Willow (crayonbreaky) with her third character, Winry Rockbell from Full Metal Alchemist.

She's just your average 16-year-old girl: she loves to go shopping (for tools and mechanical parts) and is always falling in love (with machinery). She's a talented automail mechanic, having built/repaired/upgraded Edward's limbs on numerous occasions by this point. Got a missing limb? She can make you a better, faster, stronger one! (Even if she can't charge you an arm and a leg for...an arm and a leg.) She'd also love to take apart your machines and learn how they work and then put them back together, though she's not from a time when things like your fancy computers, TVs, and robots exist quite yet.

Winry is kind of a surrogate sister and childhood friend to the Elric brothers, so messing with them might not endear you so well to her. She can also be a little bit tsundere, though she's more of a dere-primary type (usually kind/caring though with a stubborn and teasing side). When her tsun is triggered (usually by doing something like wrecking your automail, Ed. Or otherwise upsetting her.), however, she tends to turn a little violent. As in, have a painful bump / bleeding / censored smear on the floor. Usually this is accomplished with a wrench or some other convenient tool, but she's been known to punch or kick too. But don't worry - it's only a temporary effect that will resolve itself shortly. She only uses it on people she's familiar enough with and obviously with mun permission. It also has no effect in, say, actual combat either.

She's coming from her most recent appearance in the manga (chapter 84) so she might have an occasional spoiler.

So, I have a little idea I've been working on; and we're doing a test run of it this week to see how well it works.

If you're anything like me, you don't know what's going on in 3/4 of the game at any given time. This is sort of sad, since we have so many great players and characters and story lines going on. I'm proposing putting together a sort of digest for the game, that people can contribute to on a day-to-day basis, which will help everyone keep up with everyone else.

Here's how it works. After Sentience posts the morning announcement, the digest post for that day will go up on the ooc comm. Each post will have a comment for each particular day of the week. (For example, this week's will have comments for 11/23, 11/24, 11/25, and so on; plus a catch-all "backdated" comment to be used later.)

If I post for Chuck today, I would comment on the comment for 11/23 and write a very brief blurb ("Chuck hid under his bed.") and copy/paste the link. (No coding needed!) If C.C. tags him, I could comment on Chuck's digest comment and say that she did. (This part would be appreciated, but not essential; if anyone does this, please be sure to tag the original digest comment (on 11/23) not the day you tagged him (ex., 11/25).) If I post with Kamui on Wednesday (11/25), I would comment on the comment for 11/25.

Let me know if any of that doesn't make sense! (Once the post comes up and the layout's there, it may be less confusing, too.)

On Sunday, I'll compile a list of who did what and put it in the body of the digest post (ex., "Chuck hid under his bed and talked to C.C. [Link]"). I figure this could also help people with their AC summaries.

It's a BB again with a new, fresh face to Marina.

His name is Teito and he's from 07-Ghost.  Don't mind him though, really. He's been a slave for the majority of his life. At least... The parts of his life that he can remember. Teito is in training to become a bishop in order to get his revenge on the guy that murdered his brother and the Father that raised him. Best thing is... Teito is a prince and doesn't even really know it or remember it. At least he doesn't know all of this yet in the time that I am taking him from. The kid is a little tsundere, so please do be treating him kindly.~~~

Vel here, bringing in my second character to Marina: Angelina Durless, more commonly known as Madame Red.

Hailing from the series Kuroshitsuji, she is both a doctor and a fine lady from London, year 1888. She's known for her trademark color, lively presence at parties, appreciation of handsome men---and an unfortunate, recently developed habit of killing a certain subset of her patients. Messily. Angelina knows Grell Sutcliff quite well--he's her butler as well as partner in crime, friend, and the one who killed her. Denial about that last part will be go.

Be prepared for a great deal of good-natured chatter over the network, and--should you be an afore-mentioned handsome man--some extra friendliness. She also has a great fondness for children, so spontaneous mothering may occur~

As one might expect, Angelina has a host of issues tucked safely under her fine hat, but it'll take more than a little prying to get them out.

I'm planning to intro her tomorrow afternoon--hope you look forward to it~! :D

INTRO TIEMZ

I am Lance, and I bring you Dr. Spencer Reid, Supervisory Special Agent of the FBI's BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit), in Criminal Minds. He's a profiler. He finds the patterns in behavior that occur in the commission of serial crimes, and uses that profile to find the unsub (unknown subject).

Suffice it to say, he's going to have a field day here.

Otherwise, one thing you all need to know is that he butts in constantly with random, assorted facts even tangentially related to what someone else is talking about. I will keep him out of private and closed threads, but I will consider anything else fair game. That said, if you want him to GTFO, he will, or you can just comment telling me you don't want him there to begin with and I'll delete.

Otherwise, he has a wide assortment of other issues, as I've laid out in his app.

Another note: He's smart. He wouldn't get anything related to his fields of study wrong. Ever. That said, I'm not. If there's something off about what he says, and you know it's wrong, tell me, and I'll fix it. Or just assume he is right. Because I know I'm going to screw something up eventually |D.

I'm calling a slowatus. I won't be starting any new threads, but I'll try to keep up with the stuff that I'm currently in. I have a crap load of work to finish up before the end of this month and it's a lot more than I expected, so I'll probably be working through Thanksgiving and so forth. Anyhow, I apologize to anyone that I'm doing threads with. I'll be a bit slow until I get through this deadline.

Yes, Fort's bringing in one Amaterasu, the Sun, goddess in the form of a wolf, from the Okami fandom. She blooms flowers briefly when she runs, can cover you in ink if she chooses, and will bark at people a lot.

On that note, she's going to be pretty much action post only. If you want her, you need to action for her.

Someone also needs to tell her the communicator is not evil before she chews it to pieces.
