Okay, mod Roxas is srs bizness, so listen up. This is about archiving.

Those of you who have in-progress threads or threads that were recently wrapped up on Inksome (even and especially if they're older threads) need to keep in mind that those threads were not archived when our wonderfully helpful minions volunteers went through and saved everything painstakingly. So here's what this post is for:


1) Comment here with your unfinished threads with subject lines "UNFINISHED: CHARACTERX & CHARACTERY". Include a link. Then pester whoever else is in the log to tag it and wrap it up.

2) When they're finished/if you have some recently finished threads, comment here again with the subject line "FINISHED!!!!!" insert some amount of exclamation points here. Include a link.

3) Profit? I mean, backups will occur.



One other order of business: The memes need to be backed up (optionally: HMDs, other awesome OOC threads; make your opinion known). Volunteers?

HMD will be up in a few hours, when the mods wake up from their rejuvenating slumber.

Be detailed! "Deire mostly just hung around" is not detailed. "Deire introduced herself to Suzaku, Lelouch, and Tear; she narrowly avoided bickering contest with Kamui; and was geassed by Lelouch into talking about the asylum's history!" is detailed, because it covers all of her actions and interactions for the week that I can remember.

Edit: Don't be tl;dr! You know we love you all, but if your HMD is two comments long, you should probably rethink the way you're doing it. People need reminders of what your character has been up to, so that any thoughts they had at the time will come back to them -- they don't need links and intimate details of every decision you made.

You'll have one full week to comment, until the 7th. After that, the mods will check with you to make sure you're still interested. If not, you're dropped; if yes, you get one strike. You also get a strike if you haven't had enough activity.


2. How's my driving?
Please respond to other people's comments! Tell them if you think their characterization is right, wrong, just slightly off the mark; tell them if you think their character is so X Y and Z that you've decided to read/watch/play their canon; tell them if you think they as a player need to work on something, IC or OOC. You don't have to know someone's canon to give them valuable feedback.

Please do critique people freely. That's what this is here for. You're encouraged to comment anonymously if that would make you more comfortable, or logged in if you're not shy!

Hi guys!

Well, the next few days are going to be completely insane here. Dinner with relatives tonight, best friend's 25th party tomorrow, Mum arriving home (from Europe) to stay for a month tomorrow night, and then my sister's 22nd birthday on Wednesday (whose patchwork-y present I have....uh barely started...go me for leaving things 'til the last minute!)

So I'm just posting to advise you all that I may not tag frequently (or at all) until Thursday-ish my time (Wednesday for you guys in the US).
