Thomas wasn't sure what was wrong with Harry, and since last night, he'd been trying to convince himself that it wasn't any of his business. Things were always easier when they weren't your business, and you got into a lot less trouble with everything when your business didn't extend very far from your person at all. Thomas had lived a good, long life by being selfish and egocentric, and he didn't plan on stopping that successful course of action anytime soon.
That said, Harry was his brother, and the only family that he really claimed. So it wasn't really strange for him to be worried, right? Family looked after you, so looking after Harry was equally in his own self-interest.
Harry and Murphy had been friends since long before Harry and Thomas had even known each other. And to cut her off so abruptly (and cruelly, really), was really nothing like Harry. Especially when Thomas was pretty damn sure he was hot for her. Or even in love with her; who knew.
But he wouldn't get anywhere with Harry today, so instead of harassing him for details, Thomas made his way downtown to the only club this small town had to offer. The Electric Lady was nothing like Zero (which was both good and bad), and had a bit of a honky-tonk air to it (definitely bad), but it had beer and music and dancing (at least at night). So it was something. He went to the bar and ordered a drink, taking it to a table on the second level that overlooked the sidewalk below, and looked out over the street pensively. He'd have to approach Harry about it at some point, of course, but he'd have to plan a proper course of action first. Which was why he was here, in a place as close to his heart as he could find in this place.
"Although it would be better with just a few strippers," he mumbled under his breath.
