The Lupin/Snape Lurve Community

One night in chat I desperately needed something for this month's decade celebration and I asked someone to prompt me and to give me three random words I had to include in the drabble/ficlet.

No one gave me a prompt, but the main topic that night gave me ideas, and when I get random ideas, they tend to end up as conversations ….

sitruunavohveli gave me three words, though. Ravenclaw, box and tea.

Hi folks,

I made Photo Cubes (with the ever so helpful bighugelabs.com) for this months entry.
Let's see if I can explain what you have to do with it.

1. Print the images. (Click to enlarge.)
2. Follow the instructions on the printouts.

Use them as uncommon photo album (a tower of cubes on your desk for example.)

Some of the cubes have dots added, you can use them as dice.

I made four cubes with another thought in mind. The faces of Snape and Lupin show different emotions. You can use those cubes when your muse went on holiday without leaving a forwarding address and you need to come up fast with an idea for a new story. Just roll the dice... (Hint, hint.) I added the emotions as I read them in those faces. (In order from left to right, top to bottom.)

I got a new idea while writing this entry, so I made three additional cubes. These cubes can be used in much the same way as the emotions cubes. You can use one of them in combination with cube No. 3. Then you have a pairing (or threesome) for a nice little drabble or pwp, if you add the emotions cubes you even have the reactions of Snape and/or Lupin to the situation.
Example: You roll the dice with cube No. 3 and No. 13. and you get Lupin and Moody as pairing. Then you roll cube No. 10 and/or 11 to get Snape's reaction to finding Lupin and Moody doing whatever they do. Now you have a starting point for a new story.

Summary: "This isn’t magic — it’s logic — a puzzle. A lot of the greatest wizards haven’t got an ounce of logic; they’d be stuck in here forever." What if Remus, who has being trying and failing to befriend Severus for several years, learned of Severus’ affinity for logic puzzles? What if after befriending him, he fell in love and decided that maybe the only way to Severus’ heart was through his brain?

Timeline: Post war, both lived, the Tonks train wreak never happened and thus no Teddy.

Pairings: Friendship and eventual Snape/Lupin Pre-slash so far, but it might eventually become full blown slash. Background Harry/Hermione.

Disclaimer: If you think any of these characters are mine please tell me what world you live in so I can move there posthaste! Also all of the puzzles in this story are real and actual logic puzzles that I have solved in various computer games with the obvious exception of the Rubik’s cube which I played in reality. None of the puzzles mentioned hereafter are my intellectual property and at the end I will give credit where credit is due for each in order of appearance.

I suspect I will post a section a month without any real breaks as I've quite the backlog. :)
