Summary: Severus goes on vacation, hoping for a little peace and quiet (is it him or are the brats getting worse and worse??) and finds Remus staying at the same hotel. When they get snowed in, conversation flows like wine and Severus wakes in the morning, thinking it couldn't have been more than a one-night-stand. But throughout the year, Remus sends letters and little gifts and Severus begins to hope. An invitation arrives in December for a rendezvous at the same hotel.

Author's Notes: Since Rowling never saw fit to tell us much about Curse-Breakers I pretty much made them the magic version of Archaeologists. The limited information about Remus' work I either pulled out of my own experiences on a dig or I made up out of whole cloth. I hope you find the story enjoyable.
