Summary: It's a very sad (although bittersweet) german song. Perhaps you know the interpretation from Marlene Dietrich. This version is sung by Max Raabe. It's about the end of a love affair. The guy leaves his love behind and won't tell the reasons why. Although he leaves, he still loves the other and he knows his love will find a new lover and will forget about him.
