But she's a black magic woman
Who: Adelle and Kikuya
When: Late morning
Where: Cherryblossom Place
It took Adelle all morning to get the courage up. Then it took her all night, and then the sun was visible on this side of the Earth again and she took another morning to get ready for what she had to face. She pulled on a sundress and a pair of shorts underneath, foregoing the accessories for now. She was headed across the hall, there wasn't a need for all of that. On top of everything else, it was raining. Then she thought again and went back into her room to change. She pulled out the green dress Whisper had said looked great on her, put on the necklace the vampire hadn't exactly given to her, but hadn't taken back, and moved to the bathroom. She applied a simple rim of eyeliner, applied mascara, covered the bite marks on her neck with liquid bandage and foundation like she had the day before and then she stepped into a pair of heels.
The siren grabbed her purse, locked the door and stepped to the door she knew to be Kikuya's. Knock, knock, knock. Her mind was telling her that this was a very, very bad idea, but she had to attempt to talk to the witch, attempt to apologize at the very least. You know, even if she didn't entirely understand what she was to apologize for. Leave it to vampires to decide what's in your best interest. Adelle sighed as she waited for the door to swing open and for Kikuya to spit in her face or send that ugly cat after her.
She doubted she was in the state of mind needed to deal with the Japanese model, but it was now or never. Today was a day she needed to take for herself, to get ready for Roxy's family's party, which meant generally fasting and some kind of exercise to make sure she was going to look amazing in her swimsuit. The last thing she needed was to retain water or get bloated. It wasn't just Roxy's family, there were going to be other people, she needed to make sure she looked amazing. The brunette rose her hand to knock on the door again. Maybe Kikuya wasn't home.
