"Kikuya... please." It hurt the siren to add that last word but she felt it would be her final plea before she collapsed. And if she did that then there was no telling what was going to happen. It suddenly hit home very hard that she could die here, today, and several times this week. Even last week. When she looked down at the cat, the edges of her vision were hazy and spotted black. The cat was taunting her too? Seriously? Could this get anymore messed up? With one final tug of her arm, she felt her knees give out and she struggled to keep herself up with her other hand.
She was going to throw up, or at least she thought she was going to throw up. The room was spinning on top of everything else now too. The siren's lids flickered over her eyes and she went limp, her hand failing to support her. Hopefully Kikuya wouldn't take this opportunity to drain her and be done with the girl.
