Just own the night
Who: Bianca, K-lee and Kendal
Where: Hotel Party
When: Evening
K-lee hadn't needed to worry at all about her outfit for this party. Whisper had gotten back from her vacation and informed her that she was wearing one of her dresses. K-lee didn't complain. Why on earth would she have offered a word of complaint about getting to wear a Whisper Charlton original to a party where Whisper Charlton would be in attendance? The only thing she'd needed to worry about was what her 'date' was wearing. Bianca was a pretty girl, she really was, but K-lee hadn't seen her wearing a single thing that she thought would fly at this sort of party. That was why she'd dragged the black-blooded girl over to her apartment before the party so that she could help her get dresses. If she said so herself, the girl looked stunning and she wasn't anything but pleased to have her with her. Hopefully she'd behave herself too. Actually that went for both of them because K-lee was usually the one to stir things up at a party just to make it a little more fun. She wasn't sure if she'd need to at this one, not with the cast that came pre-assembled. Vampires and the Calvert's in the same room? Wasn't it Cameron Calvert who'd had that debate with Liliya Kennedy? K-lee hadn't actually paid any attention to it, she just knew that it'd happened because everyone had been talking about it for awhile. Or had everyone been talking about the demons? It didn't matter and she'd lost track along with the ability to pretend to care.
It was just funny to see them all in the same room.
"Stop fidgeting with your dress," K-lee hissed at Bianca, the smile never leaving her face despite that momentary distraction. "You're going to ruin it and if you do that then I swear I won't teach you anything but blood magic for another month." She didn't even think hat Bianca didn't have to come to her for lessons, that she could go anywhere else, and she wouldn't either. She was K-lee for god's sake and if anyone wanted to learn anything that she was capable of doing then they simply had to come to her because no one else was capable of the same things that she was. That and she knew Bianca's little secret. She doubted that the younger woman really wanted her to tell anyone that her eyes turned black and she bled the same color. K-lee widened her smile and gave a little wave when she caught Whisper's eye. Her outfit was perfectly executed, exactly as she'd been told, and her date looked every bit as good. Well, no, that wasn't true -- no one looked as good as her and no one looked better. That included her designer. Though at some point she needed to drift over and drench her in the compliments that were like her drug or else she'd heard about it later. "Do you actually know anyone here?" K-lee recognized a few, like the other model that worked for Whisper, but not all that many. And she wasn't even looking all that hard because she hadn't worked hard at getting to know people in this nowhere town.
