K-lee's pride really, really didn't like the slight it got when Bianca started just listing people off like she knew them personally. Which she might have for all the model knew. She'd been in town for a lot longer than her and was probably exposed to more of them thanks to that job of hers. K-lee's job had her dealing with other models and photographers and designers, not the sort of people that were really that common around here. Out in California she'd have been all over a party like this, chatting with everyone because she practically knew them all by first name and favorite color. Here? Nothing of the sort and she wasn't sure whether or not she wanted that to change. Who the hell wanted to get to know people who were at a ritzy place, not because they could afford it but because they were known for being supernatural? "That doesn't mean anything; though I'm impressed that you know a singer. You've just got such a pretty face that they can't help but say 'hello' and introduce themselves to it." K-lee's voice had a bit of a drawl and she even reached up to stroke that 'pretty face'. What? She'd brought Bianca and if she wanted to touch her then she was going to. Not a single thing over the past few weeks had indicated that Bianca was - hello.
Turning a little, K-lee gave the newcomer her full attention. Or what qualified as her fullest attention and was probably only three-quarters there by a normal person's standards. "Of course she looks good," K-lee declared before taking the hand that she had been offered, squeezing possibly a little harder than she should have out of sheer habit. "I dressed her. Couldn't let my date be anything less than stunning." The way that this Kendal was talking and looking at Bianca made her feel like it was almost necessary to point out that she'd brought Bianca with her. She did beam at having her dress recognized, smoothing her hand down along her side after releasing Kendal's hand at less. "Oh yes, completely new and unreleased yet. I'm one of her favorite models so she gives me little perks here and there. K-lee, by the way, and your dress..." K-lee let her voice trail off as she gave it a lengthy glance. She hadn't expected to see something like that at a party like this and she had to admire the person who was wearing it. "Didn't I hear about you in the news awhile back? Something about a priest or a vampire, can't remember what it was. Help me out, Bianca, did she sleep with him?" K-lee needed to at least pretend that she kept up on current events in the area.
