Can't you see we're wasting time, yeah
Who: Winifred, Isaiah, and Lazarus, briefly
Where: random hardware store // Winifred's apartment
When: 6pm
Not only was it a beautiful evening, but it was another evening in which Winifred got to spend time with Isaiah, and she definitely decided that that alone would make the rest of the night pleasant. And, what was more, they were outside, as the sun was setting. And Winifred was learning that even if she was alone, the night wasn't so scary as she had thought it was. It still unnerved her, but with Isaiah's warm presence, she was easily able to overlook the tension in her body. Although, her body being tense may well have a lot to do with the fact that she was currently sitting on the back of Isaiah's motorcycle, something she had insisted upon. It really was a rush, just like he'd said, and as long as she didn't think about it, she realized that she enjoyed it. Mostly because of the close proximity of the were-falcon she was so enamored of, but she figured that she was allowed. Isaiah was one of the most kind and caring guys she'd ever met, and she was definitely looking forward to seeing where things went.
The trip seemed to go a lot faster when all she had to do was hold onto Isaiah and try not to throw them off balance. In no time at all, he'd eased the bike to a stop in front of the local hardware store. Climbing off the bike, Winifred took the spare helmet off her head and shook her hair out. "I don't have helmet hair, do I?" She chuckled and shifted the helmet so she could cradle it against her side, barely managing to keep the obvious trembling out of her hands. Sure, the ride hadn't been too scary, but it was still new, and it was getting dark. "Aside from the whole leaning while you turn thing, that really wasn't too terrible. I definitely wouldn't mind riding with you more often." Which was a good thing, because they had to get back somehow. Nodding towards the front entrance, Winifred smiled. "So, what all do we need for that perch?" Winifred honestly did not know much about carpentry, and she was more than happy to let Isaiah take the lead on it. Lorcan, her falcon familiar, would definitely need a functional place to alight when he was in her apartment. Once inside, she looked around at all the different aisle labels, her eyes a little bit wide. "After you." She gave Isaiah a huge grin, wondering how long they would be here. Glancing over her shoulder at the darkening sky, she tried to shove her unease aside.
