[There is something about the butterfly that calls to him, something in its magic that pulses differently when it is close to him; he reaches out for it, too, and as soon as his fingers touch its wings, still enclosed in Dou's hand, it dissolves, leaving him with a memory - a memory of the time when Yuuko told him and Dou to go to that house, his eyes widening when it sinks in, slotting back into its place]

[Does, and as he reaches down to it, he gets the strangest sense of deja vu, like he's done this before-- he blinks, confused for a moment, before closing his fingers around the butterfly, getting a new batch of memories. This time, they're chronologically the first ones, memories of him stumbling upon the shop, starting to work for Yuuko, some of the first customers, slowly getting used to all the strangeness, and getting closer to her.]

Come on. There must be more of them. [Because the last of those memories was Yuuko-san asking him to deliver something for her, something that ended up being those two birds... and he knows more things happened after that, things that he can now see are missing something in his memories, the memories themselves undefined, fuzzy.]
