It'll get easier with time. Don't mind Ollie, he's been through a lot, and he has some frustrating coping mechanisms.

That's...different. My Ollie and I met on the job. It was love at first fight, you could say.

That's a lie. It really wasn't. I thought he was kind of an asshole when we first met and he kept getting distracted by the fishnets. I may have kicked him in the face.

Look, I should probably explain some things. It might help.

Ollie has lost a lot, especially recently. Roy...I don't know if you know a guy named Roy Harper, but he's been like a son to Ollie for years. There was an attack on Star City. A villain named Prometheus. Roy lost an arm and his daughter Lian was killed in the attack. She was just a child and we all loved her so much. Ollie blamed himself. He felt like he'd failed his son. That he'd failed his granddaughter. And, after he killed Prometheus...a lot of people blamed him too. Ever since...it's just been hard. So, just try to be patient with him.

	He stops calling me kid and we'll be fine. She's the Black Canary now. dinah \| oliver I know Roy Harper. Our Roy pretended to be the Arrow to protect me. Then he, Dig and Felicity staged his death to get him out of jail. He's on the run. I'm sorry he went through that, I am but I've been through a lot too. But I'm not going to shoot him or anything. That's...wow.

Roy was Red Arrow. I don't know what he's going to do now. I don't know that he'll want to keep doing this, now that Lian's gone. After I found out I couldn't have kids, Ollie's proteges, and his son, became the closest thing we were ever going to have.
