No. We are not. A monster is someone who uses their power to hurt people instead of helping them.

I used to be a monster. I was angry and scared, and I wanted to revenge on the man who killed my parents. Or rather, who's technology killed my parents. So my brother and I let them experiment on us, give us these powers. I only wanted to hurt people.

It was only until recently I realized that I was in the wrong. I let my anger and grief and desire for revenge get in the way of what I could truly accomplish with my powers. Which is the ability to help people and do good. So, I became an Avenger. To make up for what I had done.

So maybe, I was a monster. Maybe in some way, I still am. But I don't think I am one anymore. I don't want to believe that I am. I choose to use my powers to do good.

I don't know you very well, but I don't think you are a monster just because some man says that you are.

	I guess it's all perspective in how you see yourself. There are plenty of people who would call me a monster, because of what I did to them, or what I can do. I choose to believe otherwise about myself, even though I have my doubts. (Reply to this) (Parent)
