South Peak National Institution


South Peak National Institute or Supernatural (SPN) High, as it's not so affectionately called, is a place for supernatural beings between the ages of 15 to 25 to be themselves without worry of being found out or caught using their abilities. While many come to the school by their own choice, others that are forced to come either from family pressure or by the authorities. Both the high school and the university offer a safe haven for newly changed beings to learn to manage and control their abilities while born beings the way they are can live openly and freely at the same time. The schools are not just a place to learn about their abilities, but also functioning schools where actual degrees are earned.

South Peak is special, as they are the only schools to take in the toughest cases. Supernatural beings are taught to control their instincts and blend in with society, as their existence is still widely unknown. Here a talented staff of teachers, Ex-hunters, and officers provide a safe learning environment for all enrolled. Some students have rap sheets a mile long, others have been bitten and turned against their will, while some were simply born with their gifts. But all have one thing in common. They are all confined within the barriers of this secluded reformatory high school and university in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. Can they all learn to coexist? One can only hope, but no one knows for sure.

Light the Beacon
Premise
Light the Beacon is a panfandom RPG set in the fictional town of Beacon Hills and will loosely follow the plot arc of Teen Wolf, though prior knowledge of the show and plot are not required.

In the fall of 2011, Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, and Allison Argent performed a sacrificial ritual to save their parents from being killed. In doing so, they supercharged the Nemeton, a Druid Sacred Space on the outskirts of town, which will attract supernatural creatures to Beacon Hills (essentially "lighting" the beacon).

The ritual worked but left the three with nightmares and other lingering after effects. Weeks later, the ritual had an unexpected side effect. In addition to attracting supernatural creatures from their own dimension to town, it turned the Nemeton into a portal of sorts and started dragging people from other universes, some previously believed to be fictional, to the town.

These new arrivals couldn't seem to return to their own worlds. In addition, if they fell asleep outside of the town limits, they would wake up back in Beacon Hills the next day. The Sheriff worked with the town government to set up housing for these transplants while everyone scrambled to figure out what exactly happened and how to reverse it.

Thirty years ago, the Empire crumbled. The Rebel Alliance defeated the Emperor and, as a result, control of the galaxy was fractured. The power vacuum left remnants of the Empire's government scrambling for control. In the aftermath, no one noticed that something strange was happening on Naboo.

The Galaxy is a pan-fandom RPG based in the Star Wars universe, operating in the same timeline as Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Knowledge of Star Wars isn't required. Original characters will be accepted from the Star Wars universe (both "canon" and "legends").

What is unique about our game is that characters will not be trapped in one location. They won't even be trapped on one planet. After a designated period of time (2 weeks), characters will be allowed to leave Naboo and travel the galaxy at their discretion. Characters will be able to stay in touch with one another via the Holonet and traveling, and an over-arcing plot will be in place to tie everyone in together from time-to-time.
