The year is 1976 and a storm is brewing. Lord Voldemort has been slowly gathering followers and rising to power. People are disappearing at alarming rates and there is an overall feeling of uneasiness over wizarding society. With war knocking on their door, the students of Hogwarts are starting to feel the pressure of an adult world they are not quite prepared for. Alliances within the walls of Hogwarts are starting to be drawn and the effects will be everlasting as the students navigate through the year. Even with the outside world breathing down their necks, some things will never change. Quidditch victories will be fought for, teenage romances will be conducted and exams will be taken. Some feel this is their last chance to enjoy their childhood and they’re not letting that slip through their fingers.

[info]salvio is a canon based MWPP game taking place during the 1976-77 school year. We will be focusing on both the larger plot at hand and the everyday lives of Hogwarts’ students as they navigate through the school year.

You wake to find yourself alone, with a pounding headache and a horribly sore neck. A tannoy above your head announces:

"Welcome to the orb, you have been assigned to a living zone, your movements are now monitored and rules are mandatory... Do not attempt to resist."

You must now find a way to adapt to your new situation - to survive, thrive and, of course, the ultimate goal, escape back to your own reality.

‘Escape From the Orb’ is a panfandom game set in a enclosed complex made up of domed structures known as ‘orbs’.

It is a points based game to encourage participation all round.

Upon arrival, each character find themselves within an assigned room within one of the orbs. They have had a chip implanted at the base of their brains, at the top of their necks. This fact is unknown to the character until they are either told about it by someone else or find out about it the hard way.

Initially, only two orbs will be open to players and characters will be spread out evenly between the two. Once we reach a certain number of characters a third orb will open up.

Characters will only be aware of their orb and its occupants to begin with, this does include net posts.

BIZARRE CITY COMMUNITY
Can you survive in a world where what you see
is not what you get?


THE GAME. A free form, original character, supernatural fantasy community set in modern day with a collection of experienced roleplayers.

THE SETTING. Modern day San Francisco, CA. Game time rate is twice as fast as real time. One week in real time is two weeks in Bizarre City.

THE VEIL. A mysterious force preventing mundanes from seeing Creatures of Fantasy by subconsciously tweaking what they see, hear, and feel.

However, not all CoFs are happy with the deception. Some are determined to see The Veil torn down and bring about a new age of awareness with their Acts of Will to defy The Veil's protective influence.

AEGIS INTERNATIONAL. Agents of the Veil who police the world and prevent Creatures of Fantasy from tearing down The Veil with outrageous displays of power.

THE FAE TERRITORIES. Scattered territories beyond The Veil where a majority of Creatures of Fantasy live outside of mundane people's awareness.

A location referred to as The Court harbors the Fae Queen, the most politically powerful position among The Fae, and her court.

THE HUNTERS. Among those who can pierce The Veil, Hunters are considered extremely lethal for their combination of abilities and finely honed combat skills.
