Promote RPGS on Insane Journal

At any given time, there are a dozen projects in the Department of Mysteries that could destroy an entire world. One such project, headed by young researcher Hermione Granger, was nearing completion of Phase One. It dealt with a magical artifact known as The Veil, assumed to be the doorway between life and death. The truth was much more complicated than that, as Hermione and her team had discovered. Not only did the Veil mark a doorway between the living and the dead, it also acted as the gateway to other realities. Hermione was on the cusp of discovering why the Veil worked that way, when a spell gone wrong blasted through the Department, and sent Hermione sailing through the Veil.

When she woke up, she realized immediately that something was wrong. This world was not her own. It was a quick realization, because staring down at her, perfectly alive (if bald), is Albus Dumbledore.

golden_days gives players a unique opportunity to explore the "What Ifs" of a world where Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindlewald realized dream to rule the Wizarding World, and Tom Riddle is Headmaster of Hogwarts. Muggleborns are removed from their Muggle families and placed with proper Wizarding folk. Wizarding Great Britain is in the midst of a Golden Age of Wizardry, and there are some who would do anything to protect it.

Game opens Jan 15th, and the first few weeks will be primarily a social game. The aim will be to get a feel for the characters in this setting, and to world build. A major game-wide plot will pick up in February. Prospective players can see this post for more info.
