Promote RPGS on Insane Journal

The Weyland-Yutani Corporation and the Umbrella Corporation have been at the top of the Scientific and Medical fields for many years. With all of the labs each of them have they both have many skeletons in their closet, but they have managed to keep them out of the press. When the T-Virus broke out the Umbrella Corporation knew they would get the blame, because of their genetic research, so they neutralized the sight in Raccoon City....or so they thought. Soon enough the infected were making their way into other cities, killing some and infecting others as they went. By the year 2235 there was only one colony left and that was in Boston Massachustes. The Umbrella Corporation's underground facility there became ground central for the research for a cure....or that's what the colony protecting it was lead to believe. The facility was being over run though; the number of infected was growing everyday and there just wasn't enough people to keep the borders of the colony safe.

It seemed hopeless, but then the Weyland-Yutani Corporation offered what seemed to be the perfect way out. They had discovered a new planet that was similiar to our own and built a terraforming colony there. They were offering to get everyone out and give them a fresh start. Of course Umbrella was all to eager to take them up on their offer, because they would have another chance to prefect the T-Virus and the Weyland-Yutani Corporation had their own hidden agenda just like always. Finally, the colonists didn't really have much of a choice...either leave or become dinner. So, on July 30th 2245 the first shuttle left; it carried all of the scientists and their families, several of the remaining security staff and the first 500 Colonists.

The Weyland-Yutani Corporation had learned of a cave in their initial building of the colony, and only a month after the arrival of the first shuttle they sent one of their research crews into this cave. The cave had been inhabited before, that much was obvious; there was living quarters, dining areas and even what must have been used as restroom facilities. It seemed like this was an alien home, but there was more to be found. As they went deeper into the cave they found what was obviously a mixture of the a lab and an altar. In the very back of the room they found a stone altar at the base of a gateway. While one of them was exploring the altar they accidently flipped a switch and the gateway began to glow with flecks of blue and green. In that instant several people fell through the gateway and landed on the cave floor. The scientist that had flipped the switch tried to turn it off, but he had broken the lever when he hit it, so the portal was stuck open.

Welcome to Planet Terra! The colony is your new home whether you like it or not. The portal does not work both ways, so you may as well make yourself at home. With Umbrella working on a new strain of the T-Virus and the Weyland-Yutani Corporation hiding everything they know about the planet from it's new inhabitants danger lurks around every corner.
