"As the end of the school year approaches, and exams come to a close, and hopefully well supervised (and legal) parties take place, Roundview College would like to take this opportunity to welcome some of their previous alumni back to Bristol in the hopes that they can broaden the young minds of those leaving our hallowed halls, and fill their heads with knowledge, and not narcotics."

As Roundview College closes it's doors for the summer, it means one thing for those who have spent so long there - time to party, and let their hair down before the next big adventure they face - the future. Be it university, work, or just playing sitting around doing nothing, everything's about to change. And they won't be alone, as previous years of students have been invited back to Bristol, part college reunion, part perfect excuse for a little mentoring. But will it be mentoring in all that the future has to offer? Or will it just be an excuse for everyone to get drunk, get out of their heads, and into eachother's beds?

A WORLD TORN


a post-voldemort war game

Never before has there been such a period of destruction and social turmoil for both Wizarding and Muggle alike. As Harry Potter readied himself to face Voldemort a final time, there were many who felt that the Wizarding world was teetering on the brink of a golden age. Those who stood with the Order of the Phoenix longed for a period of peace and safety, free of the dark cloud that was Tom Riddle. Those who bore the dark mark prepared to welcome a new society that embraced purity and order. Both sides clinging to ideal visions described by their leaders.

Many would sacrifice, but none would see their ambitions bear fruit.

Now four sides scramble to fill the power vaccum left in Voldemort's wake, turning father against son, neighbour against neighbour, and leaving society in ruins.

Have you ever wondered what your favorite Glee character would be like if they lived in the World of Harry Potter? Well, [info]magicalglee is your chance to find out. However, unlike other Harry Potter/Glee crossover games, we've taken the time to develop what the US Magical world would be like and how that would affect the Glee characters. What this means is, basically, Kurt Hummel is not the Boy Who Lived, Rachel Berry is no Hermione Granger and Sue Sylvester is not Voldemort. They are the Kurt Hummel, Sue Sylvester and Rachel Berry that you know and love from Glee, just with added magic! So come on by, take a look around the game, and then reimagine your chosen Glee character in this Magical setting.

[info]magicalglee is a primarily social game, looking for writers interested in character development and interaction. There will be gamewide plots thrown in from time to time (such as body swaps, love potions, maybe even a Dark Wizard or two and, most excitingly, a brand-new Wizarding Broadway Show based on the lives of the Hogwarts Founders!) that will be developed with player input and suggestions. The game takes place in 2018, putting most of the Glee characters at 22-23 years old. We will be canon through Season 3, but there is a lot of wiggle room with characterization since no one expects 23 year old Quinn Fabray to be the exact same as her 17 year old counterpart.

The game is in what we'll call Beta Test Mode, so we're also looking for players who would like to have input on shaping the game and the world it takes place in. As such, we are going to limit the initial involvement to 25 characters (with a cap of 5 original Glee-verse characters and 5 Harry Potter cross-over characters), with option for game growth down the line. Official game start will be May 15th, but we won't lack for things to do until then. There will be a variety of in-character memes and opportunities to play out backstory until the official game start.

Premise:
We are a small played-by roleplay community set in the developing city of Casa Grande, Arizona. Our group consists of an open-minded and diverse ensemble of writers with an even more varied cast of characters. The community allows a broad spectrum: from your everyday girl-next-door or high school jock to a Victoria's Secret employee or NBA star. Regardless, you must be realistic when devising your applicant. Our emphasis is on character development and we offer an opportunity to delve deep into that person you have always wanted to play without the distractions of supernatural talents or global collapse. Doors: Seeking Heroes
A hero is no braver than an ordinary man.

Another turning point
A fork stuck in the road...

High school isn't the best time of your life -- college is.

What if the kids of New Directions never met in high school, but in college instead?  Welcome to William McKinley University in Lima, OH.  Performing may have been a passion in high school, but does it stand up to the pressures of college and preparing for the world beyond Lima?

All the While is a Glee college AU set at the fictional William McKinley University, where the familiar faces of New Directions and their friends and rivals can be re-imagined as college students -- older, and presumably wiser, everyone is just trying to find themselves before they're thrust into this 'real world' that everyone keeps talking about.

No set ships, characters from all schools in Glee canon available, and OCs are welcome.
