THE ODDS In
Panem, everyone knows about the odds. The odds are you were not born in The Capitol. The odds are that if you were born in one of Panem's twelve Districts you grew up in relative poverty under an oppressive regime. The odds are that every year between the ages of twelve to eighteen your name will be entered into The Reaping not once, but many times as you get older and depending on how destitute your family's circumstances. For each year of age you get a lucky ticket. For each extra ration of grain and oil you elect to take for yourself or a family member you get another. Every time your name goes into the pot the chances increase that you will be chosen at the Reaping. And if you are chosen? Well, the odds are, you won't be coming home.
The Odds is a Hunger Games RPG set to begin at the start of the first Quarter Quell, where, for the first time, Tributes are not picked at random but elected from their districts. Twenty-four young people, one Victor. Each character has a predetermined score determined by a roll of the dice. As the game goes on this score will lower based on character activity, district modifiers, and training scores. Lowest score wins. Can
