In 2023, the first Wizard University was opened in Ipswich, England. Offering an alternative to traditional internships, the school was a welcome relief to places such as St Mungos and Professional Quidditch Teams, where applicants far exceeded the vacancies. Two years later the school is thriving with nine offered subjects, co-ed fraternities, street games, and Quidditch tournaments. Gossip and rumours, pranks, and day-to-day mishaps make college life anything but boring. Just mind the occasional streaker.

WMU is a next generation Harry Potter game set at university. With a focus on character development, good storylines, and both friendships and relationships between characters, we’ve gone back to basics that make role play fun. We encourage good writing, journaling, threading, and our players to simply relax and have fun.

High school: the best and worst of times - especially if you can move things with your mind, shoot fire from your fingertips, or lift up a car with one hand. Welcome to Tranquility, Pennsylvania, just another ordinary small town in a post-evolutionary world. Tensions are running high as, one by one, the powered students are outed and the anti-powered sentiment strengthens. It’s been thirty years since the Powered People’s Protection Act was passed, yet the world is still filled with discrimination and hatred, and in a small town like Tranquility, things don’t change unless you force them to. One thing is certain: revolution is coming, and sooner or later, everyone is going to have to choose a side.

(R)evolutions is an original character, supernatural game set in the fictional town of Tranquility, Pennsylvania, focusing on its inhabitants and mainly on its students and the social and political tension that exists between them.

Rome

The citizens of Rome, one of the most powerful empires in the ancient world, spend their days working through streets crowded with beggars and merchants. One cannot move past an alley without being flanked by a butcher working on a pig to the right, a Pagan shrine to the Goddess of the Earth on the left -- Everything set in a harmonious fashion without ever taking note to the potential of disharmony hidden directly beneath the surface. At the forum there are glances toward a gladiator arena and the platform being erected for a slave auction near the steps of the esteemed senate.

There are grain ships sitting at the docks and men unload the bounty under the watchful leadership of man that is little more than a gang-leader. Men and women live their lives, pleading cases to Senators as they pass and then to the strong men of the street after justice refuses them. No one knows that one, the other, or both might just be a creature that would come to be known as a vampire, for at this time it is just a whispered idea of a curse rampant in the upper class.

Stories are told, and legends are made each day on the streets of the early Roman empire. Many feel they are simply creating and telling fairy tales to keep children out of the woods when they talk about centaurs and satyrs, while the tutor working with their children grins and fidgets inside his human form -- Desperately wanting to stretch his legs as he runs through the woods. The creature within him hidden away in his mortal disguise.

Patrician families have been infiltrated by vampires, though the word doesn’t even really exist just yet outside the race itself, and the creatures of stories are hidden throughout Rome in all her facets, hidden beneath human dress and flesh, helping or hindering as they see fit. Rome is a city built on hills, controlled by the strongest of any given moment, and ruled by whatever is being whispered on the streets.

COME FOR CLASS


In 1992 Headmaster Albus Dumbledore reintroduced the Triwazard Tournament to the magical world. The tournament had been banned in 1792 due to the death toll but after working with the heads of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang a safer tournament was devised. We all know how that one turned out. Fake Moody dropped Harry Potter's name into the Goblet of Fire, Potter and Diggory were picked from the Goblet and both represented Hogwarts. Potter and Diggory both won the tournament but when they touched the cup it turned out to be a portkey. Then Diggory died, Potter saw the re-birth of the Dark Lord and in 1997 the Dark Lord was once again vanquished.

Now in 2021 Headmistress Colette Swann worked with the heads of Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, Canadian Institute of Magic and Salem Witches' Institute to bring back what Dumbledore had started and for the same reason. To foster international relationships. Challenges are still challenging, champions still need to be of age and this time the champions get to stay in Hogwarts to enjoy their time aboard.
