There is a town not too far away that is just like yours. There are schools and hospitals, stores and churches, families and friends. People live, die, and love there, every single day.

Cambion City. It's a town just like yours. Or is it?

So maybe the unexplained deaths are a little much. Maybe the number of missing persons is the highest in the US. Maybe, the years tick by and some of Cambion City's residents don't seem to age. Maybe, in Cambion City, the things that go bump in the night smile and serve you pancakes in the morning, too.

Maybe in Cambion City, the people you know are the monsters you fear.

You've read the books. You've seen them fight in the First War. You've seen them searching for horcruxes. You've seen them struggling with choosing between good and evil and right and wrong. But what happens at Hogwarts when the pressing issue of the day is simply, 'Who flooded Moaning Myrtle's bathroom?' or 'Will I have a date to the Yule dance?' What happens in Hogwarts when hundreds of preteens and teenagers share the halls? Mishaps and shenanigans are bound to happen. Someone will steal your girlfriend, a fight will break out outside of the Potions classroom and someone will be caught passing notes in class.

Amidst all of that, you've got the epic battle between the houses, a battle that has nothing to do with You-Know-Who or grand wizards, but everything to do with an age-old rivalry dating back to the Hogwarts founders. So, what will your character get up to as Hogwarts opens its doors for another year? Will you be trying to win the heart of the boy you've loved since second year? Spending your free period seeing just how many pumpkin pasties the giant squid can eat in an hour? Or will you be off in the corner plotting the next big prank with your best friends?

Pranksters is an AU MWPP roleplaying game set at Hogwarts in 1977, the Marauders' last year. While Voldemort exists, the war outside of the school is not a main focus of the game. Most canon characters are currently open for play.

Lima, Ohio used to be just another ordinary town. Then the government stepped in and turned Lima into a holding ground for people with unusual abilities. Thanks to a mind wipe, no one even remembers it happening.

But that was before a lightning storm destroyed a statue that had kept unusual things from happening for 50 years. Suddenly, all the teenagers came down with a flu-type illness that lasted for weeks. When it stopped, everyone thought things had gone back to normal.

Spoiler Alert: They were wrong.

Now, strange things are happening. Kids are developing powers that they thought were only in comic books. Flying, telekinesis, weather manipulation...Lima is seeing it all, and the members of New Directions and their friends are right in the middle of it all. The question is: what side will they choose?

*There is a contingency plan in place if we get several Warblers in order to give them the maximum amount of interaction with McKinley kids.
