The Las Vegas strip never sleeps. Brightly lit neon signs direct everyone's attention to one thing or another. A casino, a club, a hotel, a strip joint, a show most often all of them combined. Chapels for shotgun weddings share corners with drug deals. The market for family vacations is slowly slipping on the back burner while the appeal of sin climbs right back up the charts.

Somewhere in the middle of all the lights, sounds, and activity stands one of many hotel casinos. Emblazoned in gold lettering at the top is 'Temptation'. It's the newest development in Vegas. But this place? Well it's just a little different from the others. And 'different' in Vegas has a whole new meaning.

Temptation is, to put it simply, the stage for a giant cosmic wager of sorts. Every few centuries God and the Devil like to observe the state of humanity from a more personal perspective. Just which side are people leaning toward? Darkness or light?

Well this time it was the Devil's turn to determine just where this survey of humanity was going to take place. And in his not so humble opinion, 'Sin City' didn't seem like a bad decision. Temptation is the site for everything. Satan and his followers have authority over the hotel's casino and the decadent club 'Addiction' on the ground floor of the hotel. Heaven's angels, with Gabriel acting in God's place survey things on the penthouse level including the day spa and club 'Salvation', a far cry from it's darker counterpart down below.

There are no winners in this game. Just souls to be lost or saved and not even the big players, angels and demons alike, are completely immune to temptation in either direction when placed in a human guise.

It's the end of the world as we know it. Will you be able to survive?

It's the year 2013 and humans with superpowers are common place. The government had installed a registration program to keep track of these metahumans. Only problem was that most didn't take kindly to it. Banded together, metahumans rose up against the governments of the world and started a new world war. In a last ditch effort to win, the United States released a virus.

The virus killed metahumans and humans alike. When the dust settled, only a small percentage of the world's population was left. Cities were left in ruin. Now it's up to those left to continue on and try to make a life out of what is left. Who will rise up to try and make a new world? Metas or humans?



Humanity Lost is a post apocalypse roleplaying game that doesn't take place months or weeks after it happens but picks up in the direct aftermath. The group majority left standing are metahumans, humans with super human powers. If you like X-Men or other Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Heroes, The 4400, or other such fandoms, this rp might be for you. We are all original characters set in an original setting ran by friendly mods who do ads daily, not once a week like some rps. Due to the subject matter allowed, all players must be 18+.
