Summary: Jaime explores her new ... home

Jaime had explored the room upon waking, and once she'd determined it was all pretty real she set about attempting to find things. When she tried to find a way out though, she got the oddest feedback and a throbbing headache that had knocked her out for a couple of hours. Upon waking up from that, she decided she wouldn't go about asking for a way out.
Granted, if anyone else asked her to find a way out, she couldn't do anything about that. At least if they just mentioned it in conversation without actually asking her if there was one, or to find one, she'd probably be all right.
Deciding she wouldn't find anything out just by staying in her room, Jaime left it. She prowled the third and second floors of the hotel, listening to see if she could hear anyone else around. She didn't think the hotel had the creepy, completely empty vibe to it, but she also hadn't seen any entries on that network dealy.
The lower level of the hotel seemed to be a fairly social place. Or ... it would have been if there'd been people in it. There were TVs and games and a dining area. A restaurant that looked closed to her (though the menu was pretty damn varied), and a few other places of interest. Including a library, and she grinned a little at that.
Letting herself out of the hotel (though she half expected to be stopped at the door), Jaime prowled around the town a little. She saw the white line the note had mentioned, and decided to err on the side of caution and stay on her own side of it. She did see the hulking beast of the mall off in the distance, but she opted to wander to the closer row of shops. The only one that looked in decent repair was a ... well, convenience type store with abandoned gas pumps in front of it.
Curiously, Jaime eased inside. It was odd how the place looked completely stocked, and she wondered what the deal was. There wasn't anyone else around, so what was to stop her from just taking whatever she wanted? She wandered toward the back of the store, opening one of the refrigerated sections and drawing out one of the bottles of water. Twisting off the cap, she took a sip and looked around the store.
"So ..." Jaime said aloud to the empty store. "This is ... weird ..."
