Artist's Notes: OMG. I had so much fun stealing scrapbooking paper from my mother-in-law and cutting it to tiny bits. Very tiny bits in some cases as every detail was done with paper. I just might have to try this method of art again as I'm pleased with how it came out. Thanks for giving me the opportunity. I hope you enjoy it!

Artist's Notes: First scene: hand-rolled onigiri, fruit leather, provolone cheese, nori and gel icing. Second scene: onigiri, fruit leather, provolone, olives, creamy horseradish, oyster sauce, gel icing. In true bento tradition, it's entirely edible -- though no one in my family seemed willing to try it.

Artist's Notes: I know you didn't ask for Narcissa AND a baby erumpet, but once I thought of to get them in the same picture, I couldn't resist. This was done in normal pencil, then scanned into Paint Shop Pro and cleaned up, then printed out and colored with art pencils, then scanned in and cleaned up again. I discarded versions done with pastels and pen.
