PACK YOUR
MOTHERFUCKING BAGS

The plot is centered around the hunt for Horcruxes, which have been scattered across the globe. It also will explore possibilities for what might have happened should things have gone differently in canon after the Marauders' graduation (for example, should Snape/Peter decide not to go to the other side).

Over the course of the game, Regulus will have presented the Order of the Phoenix with what he knows about the Horcruxes: the location of the first and that there are four more somewhere in the world. This sets off a chain of events leading to Voldemort and Dumbledore's deaths when Dumbledore sacrifices himself to buy Order time to find the Horcruxes and a mad scramble between the Order, Death Eaters, and Ministry to reach the Horcruxes first with journalists trailing behind before Voldemort can return.

ROADMAPS starts December 11.
We expect to see you there.

Most Wanted: Edgar Bones, Dedalus Diggle, Elphias Doge, Aberforth Dumbledore, Xenophilius Lovegood, Rubeus Hagrid, Sturgis Podmore, Avery Sr., Crabbe, Goyle, Igor Karkaroff, Walden Macnair, Mulciber Sr., Rosier Sr., Thorfinn Rowle, John Dawlish, Alastor Gumboil, Walden Macnair, Proudfoot, Rufus Scrimgeour, Savage, Barty Crouch Sr., Williamson, and journalists!

Pax Letale: a modern myth game [12 Nov 2010|05:52pm]
PAX LETALE: GODS REBORN

In Southern California, there recently opened a new luxury apartment building. Impeccably designed, impossibly convenient, ideally located, Pax Letale is the sort of residential Shangri La where Southern Californians spend all manner of favors and years trying to secure a spot. But Pax doesn't have a waiting list, nor can a place there be bought or sold. The people who find their way to Pax Letale belong there.

Every tenant of Pax is a reincarnated deity whose worshipers are by and large long dead. Once very real, these gods began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. Reborn as mortals, their essences remain, waiting to be awakened. Somehow, sometimes one by one, sometimes in groups or pairs, these creatures of destiny have discovered Pax, and have not been able to resist its pull.

For at Pax Letale, the awakening has begun. As these gods rediscover themselves and each other, the seemingly invisible but ubiquitous management tracks each of them quite closely, and the very building itself seems to have an agenda of its own. And as the gods made humans in their own image - or humans made them in theirs - so will the the behavior of the people of Pax turn as dark as their myths. Blood, strife, sex, petty plots, torture - even murder will wind their ways into Pax Letale.

A lovely place. A peculiar place. A dangerous place.

Available Tenants:

Isis was worshiped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the matron of nature and magic. Devoted and wise, Isis was loyal to a fault and well-loved in Egypt. Her mortal seeming may be connected to her brother-husband Osiris, her brother Set, and her sister Nephthys, as well as the other Egyptian deities.

Apollo was the Greek god of the sun, though he wasn't actually the sun. He was also the god of prophecy, medicine and healing, music, and a variety of other domains that made him popular among gods and men alike. He was famous for his Oracle at Delphi, and like most Greek gods, loved the ladies. His human self is likely to have connections with those of his twin sister, Artemis, his father, Zeus, his brother, Ares, and other Olympian gods like Poseidon and Aphrodite.

Masauwu is a Hopi deity sometimes called the Skeleton Man, Keeper of Fire, Spirit of Death, and the Master of the Fourth (present) World. He is depicted as a dark-skinned man wearing a mask; sometimes the creature beneath this mask is described as handsome, sometimes as a disfigured monster. Connections to Native American deities and gods and goddesses of death or enlightenment are likely.

ADDITIONAL AVAILABLE TENANTS

Don't see a tenant that interests you? Original creations are welcome - pick one of the active pantheons in the game, or talk to a mod if there's one you don't see, and make your modern god as you see him/her/it.

What would you do to stay young and beautiful forever? Would you lie? Would you steal? Would you kill?

Sirens are brought up to do exactly that. A race of woman, capable of luring men with their magical songs, and shapeshifting into birds. Beautiful and enchanting, sirens are capable of unlocking immortality. But it comes at a price. Regularly afflicted with debilitating murderlusts, sirens have a choice. Give in, and kill, or lose their beauty, their youth, and their sanity. The more they kill, the longer they'll live.

For centuries, siren women have made their choice. Some try to kill only when necessarily, while some embrace what they are. Whether they found what they were to be a burden or a gift, it was theirs to bear in secrecy.

Until the Light of May.

On May 1st, 2009, the supernatural world revealed itself to society. And the siren race was listed as one of the top threats to humanity. Sirens have been driven into hiding. Some try to pass as werebirds, some choose a life on the run. No one knows what happens to a siren if caught, but there are rumors of scientific experiments to 'cure' them.

Whatever you decide, one thing is certain. Don't get caught.
