Vampires, werewolves, and more exist. They are coming out of the shadows and into the light - and they come with a message. They mean no harm or danger to humans. But there are other things out there that do. The descendants of demons. Sirens. And the mysterious race known as the Dream Eaters - the baku - that feed on dreams and nightmares, and can use their powers for good or evil. And the angels that once protected our realm have mysteriously disappeared. The events regarding the supernatural that unraveled this May came to be known as the Light of May. Those who have lived their lives in secrecy and shadow can come into the light. But what of those who embrace the shadow? The darker sorts of the world, who regard us as little more than play-things or food? The world as we know it has been forever changed. Recuperatio [21 Oct 2009|04:37am] October, 2005. It has been seven years since the fall of The Dark Lord Voldemort. And while one may think that things are all rainbows and sunshine, they would be very wrong indeed. The Death Eaters have realigned under a new set of leaders who plan on finishing the work of The Dark Lord through political means instead of violent ones. In response to the torture of Hermione Granger, the poisoning of Katie Bell, and the serial killer, the Order has also reformed, under the current Head of the D.M.L.E. Due to the violence of Hermione’s attack, Ron Weasley is now on the war path for vengeance and it seems that no one will be able to stop him, though, he may get his chance as Fenrir Greyback’s obsession with the young Witch is incorrigible. What neither of them knows is that an even more precious, innocent life is at stake. And the Boy-Who-Lived is dealing with a serious case of P.T.S.D. Vampires demand equal rights, the werewolves are attempting to organize, and a serial killer is on the loose and has just killed his sister, the Deputy Head of the D.M.L.E., along with many others. A Muggle War rages in the Middle East, affecting the Wizarding World alike and the new leader of the Death Eaters is downright sexier than Voldemort could ever dream of being. Oh Marvelous: A Marvel Universe Game [21 Oct 2009|12:14pm] Oh Marvelous: A Marvel RPG "Did you ever have one of those lives?" You inhabit a fantastical universe where anything can happen. Super powered beings exist, and living a sane life is no easy feat for anyone. In such an extraordinary world, an average day can be ruined by the strangest of threats; be it viral zombies, megalomaniacal criminals or assassination attempts. All just part of a normal day in a very abnormal world. You don’t even glance up at the shrill whine of sirens or the roar of a giant monster a few blocks over. In the sky above a caped character is flying towards the fray; a member of some super hero team or perhaps a lone vigilante. Maybe the monster is a mythical creature or an invading alien or a minion of the latest super villain. A van is hurled down the street followed by another angry howl but you go casually about your business- buy your newspaper, sip your latte- and mutter cynically to yourself, "oh_marvelous." Oh Marvelous is an age 18+, social, thread based, third person, AU Marvel RPG played in real time (quite a mouthful). The game is set in present day, in locations all over the world. Plot is primarily player driven with occasional inclusive plots that affect the entire game. This game does not follow any set timeline or particular Marvel continuity.
