Oh my young one, you don't know what you MISSED!!!! This it THE GREATEST LOVE STORY OF THE CENTURY.

They have been in love with each other forever, like since first year. They were not together when they got here, BUT they were spending time together.

My take: They were about to be a thing when they got here. They got together in their time, then had some kind of fight. Your Dad went back to your mother. Dad thought that they would split up, but then when they didn't, he decided to get married too even though he's GAY. He's not even BI, but gay and you can't never tell that to anyone because I'll kill you, but yeah, this is why my father never dated anyone after my mother died.
